07 Fév SOLIDARITY MARKET 2025 FOR GOOD FEEDING OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING STUDENTS IN TORORO UGANDA
El Clarín Spices SL will collaborate one more year with Manos Unidas through the Solidarity market organized by Colegio Teresiano del Pilar (Zaragoza) next February to get social funds with which to promote the nutrition of the students of the Vocational Training in Tororo, Uganda.
In the area of Tororo, where this project is located, the rates of crime, prostitution and AIDS among youth are very high. In order to improve this situation, the Benedictine fathers have created a Vocational Training Center in which young people can learn trades such as agriculture, carpentry and joinery, vehicle mechanics, electricity and plumbing, computing, hairdressing, cutting and sewing. The idea is to offer 350 students a dining room service with a nutritious and balanced diet. The project will begin in April and will last 12 months.
We feel very satisfied to be able to participate in this project by contributing this year a greater quantity of our paprika that will be sold at the charity market and with which we hope to raise a lot of funds for this good cause.
