The University of Orihuela Visits El Clarín!

A group of students from third year of the Degree in Science and Food Technology of the University Miguel Hernández (UMH ) in Elche has visited the paprika factory „El Clarín Spices – SL “ in Orihuela.

The students, accompanied by teachers and the subjects of Basic Quality Management and Environment Juan Miguel Valverde Veracruz and Pedro Javier Zapata Coll Operations have known the installations and automated technologies of reception, crushing, grinding, mixing, packing, storage and shipping from the company . Students also visited the laboratories which are in the process of accreditation for ISO 17025 as well as the implementation of the Quality Management Standards and Food Safety FSSC22.000 also they have got ISO 9.001 and ISO 22.000.

Nowdays, „El Clarin Spices“ has a productivity capacity of 10.000 tons per year of paprika, which makes it one of the leading worldwide producers. Furthermore „El Clarín Spices“ has its own plantations in several countries, which allow to ensure the quality of their products from the field to the table. Since 1943, „El Clarin Spices“ brings tradition, experience and commitment necessary for the manufacture of the highest quality in its production facility located in the hamlet of La Matanza de Orihuela (Alicante-Spain).
